Celebrate HOTCHEE NEW YEAR in Downtown Carlisle!
Love Carlisle's Hotchee New Year brought to you by Brightspeed is happening inside and outside of the Carlisle Theatre on West High Street on Wednesday, December 31st from 6-9pm. Special thanks to Briggson Building Co. for handling the logistics of the Hotchee Drop and to the Country Butcher Shop for sponsoring our Hot Dog Eating Contest.
LIVE MUSIC: We are thrilled to have The Cagan Goldstein Band performing a FREE concert on the theatre's stage from 6-8pm.
500 HOTCHEE DOGS TO GIVEAWAY: Tommy and the Mazias Family has generously given us 500 Hotchee Dogs to giveaway! We will have them at the Love Carlisle tent next to The Hamilton Restaurant. There will be a limit of one Hotchee Dog per person.
HOT DOG EATING CONTEST: The evening will also feature a Hot Dog Eating Contest brought to you by the Country Butcher Shop beginning around 8pm. Each contestant will be given 20 hot dogs. The contestant who eats 20 hot dogs the fastest or whoever eats the most hot dogs within 10 minutes will be deemed Top Dog! *Contestants 18 and over can sign up to participate HERE! https://forms.gle/LkLGih3PvzeF2qRH7
HOTCHEE DOG DROP: DJ Rob will be outside playing tunes and counting down to the drop of the giant replica of the Hamilton Restaurant's iconic Hotchee Dog. The DROP IS HAPPENING AT 9PM so Tommy and the Hamilton Restaurant family can be in attendance.
CARRIAGE RIDES: Benchfield Farms will be offering carriage rides from 7-10pm near at the square!
MEET THE MAKER: The very talented AEDAN GRIFFITH who created the 6ft Hotchee Dog will be on hand to discuss his replica Hotchee Dog.
FREE FACEPAINTING: Facepainting from 6-9pm will take place inside the lobby of the Carlisle Theatre.
Special guest appearances, concessions, party favors, 50/50 raffle, plus, exclusive Hotchee Dog T-Shirts for sale (to support future New Year's Eve events)
