Shop small and get started on your holiday shopping in Downtown Carlisle this weekend!

We're kicking off the shopping season with our Holiday Open House this Saturday, November 8th. Come shop small and show your love for local while tasting cookies at 15 downtown locations, then voting for your favorites!

Our friends from Cantate Carlisle will be strolling and caroling through the business district to spread some holiday cheer while you're getting unique gifts for EVERYONE on your list!

We will also be holding our 3rd Annual Cookie Contest between participating downtown merchants. The cost is free. Please one cookie per person. The contest hours are when participating businesses open. See locations below. We encourage you to check out the business and hopefully find something for you or someone on your list this year.

We have 14 locations participating and it’s up to YOU to determine who are the winners! Vote for Best Tasting, Most Creative and Most Festive Cookies below!

Here’s a look at other events happening in downtown this weekend!

This weekend, we welcome families of Dickinson students to our town! We hope you will all come downtown and enjoy some shopping, eating and activities while spending time with your loved ones.

The Carlisle Antique Mall located at 164 N Hanover Street will be holding their Cocktails & Candy Canes event on Saturday & Sunday from 10am-6pm Parking around town is free.

Stop in Nov 8th and 9th for a two-day holiday extravaganza filled with 4-floors of vintage treasures, seasonal décor, and magical moments you won’t forget. Stroll through hundreds of vendor booths decked in twinkling lights and snow-kissed displays, as holiday music fills the air. Enjoy complimentary treats and sips!

Stop at Central Wedge Cheese Shop located at 25 W High Street on Saturday from 11am-3pm to meet a handful of Pennsylvania cheesemakers!

You'll get to talk with each cheesemaker while you sample their cheeses and learn their stories. It's just science that the cheese will taste even better once you know who is making it!

This Saturday is The Clothing Curators first ever Sip & Shop Stroll happening from 10am-4pm throughout Downtown Carlisle. There are only a handful of bags still available at Miss Ruth’s Time Bomb for $15. Your bag is your ticket and and you won’t be able to be a part of it (this time) if you don’t have a bag. With that bag, you will also receive 15% off at each boutique and a signature beverage. Get your girlfriends and family together and enjoy an afternoon out in downtown. As always, parking is free on weekends.
