Second Saturday on W High and Pitt Streets is happening THIS SATURDAY – June 8th!

This year, each Second Saturday will be in a certain block of downtown each month. June 8^th from 12-3pm features the local businesses on W High and Pitt Streets! This also includes S Court House Avenue. 

BOURBON COWGIRL: Stop by and check out downtown Carlisle’s newest retail store – The Bourbon Cowgirl located at 10 S Court House Avenue (near the Gingerbread Man)! 

CARLISLE THEATRE: The Carlisle Theatre is giving you a chance to win a family four pack of movie passes!! All you have to do is guess how much popcorn is in the container. They will also be selling popcorn and they’ll have hotscotch on the sidewalk along with sidewalk chalk available for kids to make their own art! 

CENTRAL WEDGE CHEESE SHOP: Central Wedge Cheese Shop will be clebrating their 1^st Anniversary in downtown with the CHEESE OLYMPICS! Your ticket will gain access to their tasting room where you can sample Central Wedge's top 10 best selling cheeses from the past year. After sampling each cheese, you can vote on your three favorites. With your help, we will award three cheeses the gold, silver and bronze medals for Carlisle's Favorite Cheeses!

CLOTHESVINE: The clothesVine will be holding sidewalk sales during Second Saturday! Make sure to stop by and check out all of the deals!  

FIRST UNITED CHURCH of CHRIST: Stop by First United Church of Christ on North Pitt Street for LIVE MUSIC from Rivers from 12-2pm! 1st UCC will also have an information tent set-up with water and they'll be holding free tours of their historic church.

GEORGIE LOU’S RETRO CANDY: Georgie Lou’s will have a special on FUDGE!! Buy Four Pieces of Fudge and GET ONE FREE! 

HISTORY ON HIGH – THE SHOP: Stop by History on High and play some games that will be set-up on the sidewalk. 

LIVE MUSIC: The Charles Bruce Foundation will be sponsoring Live Music under the Theatre Marquee from 12-2pm. 

WHISTLESTOP BOOKSHOP: Stop by Whistlestop for a Competitive Paper Airplane Flying Contest in front of the store! Fold your own paper airplanes with prizes awarded. Paper will be provided from destroyed books that otherwise would be forced to recycle or throw away -- old books, There will be three contests at the top of every hour at 1pm, 2pm & 3pm.

SECOND SATURDAY PASSPORT: We have a Second Saturday Passport that you can pick up at any of the retail shops on Second Saturday. Get the passport signed off by each participating location and turn it back in – you’ll be registered to win LoveBucks!
