What's happening around town Ice Art Fest Weekend!

Ice Art Fest returns to downtown Carlisle on Friday, February 2nd at 4pm and runs through Sunday, February 4th at 3pm. We have over 120 sculptures throughout downtown this year and we hope you’ll check out everything downtown Carlisle has to offer including our specilty shops, boutiques, restaurants and breweries! We’ve compiled a list of what specials our merchants have going on over Ice Art Fest weekend.

1794 Whiskey Rebellion at the Comfort Suites (Located at 10 S Hanover Street): Make sure to stop by the ICE BAR at 1794 Whiskey Rebellion. Here’s a look at this year’s Ice Fest menu and specials!

Anahata Yoga Studio & Boutique (1 Liberty Ave): Once again we are celebrating our anniversary of moving to downtown Carlisle with an Ice Fest Open House! We will have an ice sculpture in front of the store again this year and will have a TON of specials and sales going on throughout the store. CARLISLE ARTS LEARNING CENTER ( Located at: 38 W Pomfret Street): Warm up at Carlisle Arts Learning Center and take in 2 exhibits: In the G.B. Stuart Gallery, Looking In, Reaching Out, 34 artists interpret the theme of introspection and human connection. In the Upper Gallery, Let's Play: Human connections and interactions that happen through games and play is highlighted with plenty of hands-on activities.

Gallery open Friday, Feb. 2, 10am-8pm.

Friday at 5 pm, 6pm, and 7 pm, metalsmith Abria Donato will demonstrate Ice Casting, one of the many ways to cast shapes with molten metal. Come watch as Donato melts silver and pours it into buckets of ice to create unique pieces of jewelry! Super cool!

We will have pre-stenciled mugs ready to paint or choose a bowl, plate or mug and decal your own with transfers you can use. Just like a temporary tattoos you stick on with water after you paint your item. When it dries we peel and fire!

Etter Events at The Vault (Located at 1 N Hanover Street) will be conducting free tours of the newly remodeled space on N Hanover Street!

Marjorie’s Gems Diamond Dig (Located at: 44 S Hanover Street)

The original DIG is returning to Marjorie's Gems during this year's Ice Art Fest. All heart containers will be opened at the same time and EVERYONE WHO PURCHASES A TICKET IS A WINNER! Each heart will have a coupon inside for a piece of jewelry valued between $5 and $20... + one lucky person will win the DIAMOND!

Tickets can be purchased at Marjorie’s Gems beginning on Friday, February 2^nd at Noon and winners are chosen Sunday, February 4^th at 2pm. Tickets: $20 – Limit 5 per person. Only a 100 tickets are sold.

All proceeds benefit the Downtown Carlisle Association.
