Making Spirits Bright Holiday Parade

The Making Spirits Bright Holiday Parade will be making its way through downtown Carlisle on Thursday, December 5, 2024! Thank you to the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Carlisle, PA for sponsoring the event! We are HO-HO-HOping you'll join us! Register ONLINE, in person at the Stuart Community Center (415 Franklin St), or over the phone! *Pre-Registration is required. Enter yourself, your organization, company, team or family for FREE! Santa will be in the parade, please do NOT include a Santa in your entry. Street Closure and Parking: @ 6:00 p.m.: -North Street will be closed to all through traffic between East and Spring Garden Streets. -Parking available at Weis Markets, McCarren's Supply, and Louther St. (North and South) Municipal Lots after 4:30 p.m. Parade Route: @ 7:00 p.m.: -West on E. North Street to Hanover Street; south on Hanover Street to Willow Street; east on Willow Street where parade disbands. Fair weather only, no make-up date!

Help us celebrate all that 2024 had to offer, while we look forward to so much more in 2025! We will be dropping a GIANT 6ft HOTCHEE DOG designed by the very talented AEDAN GRIFFITH a student at Big Spring High School. We will have live music on stage at the Carlisle Theatre from 6-8pm DJ Rob will be outside playing tunes and counting down to the giant hotchee drop which will be happening at 9pm! Hot Dog Eating Contest begins at 8pm. 50/50 Raffle for cash and other prizes! The Ice Art Fest, a dazzling display in Downtown Carlisle, begins on Friday, January 31 at 4pm and continues until Sunday, February 2 at 3pm. Sponsored by UPMC, the event promises to be an icy spectacle with over 100 ice sculptures. We have some exciting new plans for 2025's Ice Art Fest so make sure to keep checking back as we get closer to the event for more details.
