Take a step back in time as you walk through our beautiful downtown to explore and discover the rich history rooted in this community. We are excited to announce that the Downtown Carlisle Association has received a grant from the America250 program to celebrate the history of our Founders. Artwork of historical figures has been placed throughout downtown storefronts. There will a QR code in the shape of a footprint at each location for you to scan to hear the narrated story of their impact on the downtown and the legacy they've left behind. Stroll at your leisure anytime between June 14 and July 4. Maps of the 25 participating locations will be posted and shared prior to the start of the event date. Special thanks to the Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation and Visitors Bureau for awarding funding to us. Thanks also to the team behind the scenes, including the DCA Board of Directors, organizational committee members, and the Cumberland County Historical Society.
Open Property Tour

2026 Corvette Parade, Park & Party!

The Downtown Carlisle Association and Carlisle Events invite you to the 2026 CORVETTE PARADE, PARK AND PARTY, Saturday, August 29th beginning at 7pm! Don't miss 500 Corvettes from all across the country on display throughout the streets of downtown Carlisle. Don't miss a live concert on the Square with Dance Fever from 7-9pm. Grab some food & drinks and do some shopping to support your favorite downtown merchants while checking out all the 'Vettes. You'll see everything from vintage to modern!
Spooky Saturday

Spooky Saturday is our trick or treat event for kids 12 and under with our downtown Carlisle merchants. A map of participating locations to collect treats from will be available for pickup on the Town Square beginning at noon on Saturday. *If your business would like to participate in Spooky Saturday, please, email Stacey at [email protected]. Holiday Open House

We're kicking off the shopping season in downtown Carlisle with the annual Holiday Open House... It's always a great time to SHOP LOCAL and support the small businesses in our community. Come see all that our unique boutiques and artisan shops have to offer; You'll be sure to find great gifts for everyone on your list! There will be a SCAVENGER HUNT beginning on Friday, November 13th that ends on Small Business Saturday, November 28th. Several locations will be participating in a COOKIE CONTEST, one day only -- while supplies last, on Saturday, November 14th. Sample them all and vote for your favorites: BEST TASTING, MOST CREATIVE and MOST FESTIVE. One ballot will be drawn to win $25 in LoveBucks, which spend like cash at participating downtown locations!
