Carlisle has a multitude of parking options for all areas of downtown. The downtown area has plenty of on street metered parking silver smart short term meters and gold long term meters.
Silver Smart Meters
Silver smart meters can be found in a 2 block radius around downtown. These meters have a maximum time limit of 2 hours which can be paid for in multiple ways. While you can still pay for parking with nickels, dimes, quarters but you can now use your credit card to pay right at the meter. You can also pay using the PassportParking app for iPhone or Android or online at m.ppprk.com. Just enter your zone and space number to pay. You can also add time from the app.
Gold Meters
Gold meters are long-term meters and are located a little further from the square. These meters only accept quarters but you can pay for up to 10 hours at one time. These meters optimal for people who will be visiting downtown for the entire day.
Parking Lots & Garage
Carlisle has a number of metered parking lots in the downtown area as well as a the Pomfret Street Parking Garage, located at 35 W. Pomfret Street, that are open to the public.
